Folks,I got my JD 4400 back today from the dealer ( I am at work now) but any way I wanted to tell you of something I done with my JD 4400 that was very helpful,I bought the extra weight attatchment and installed a trailer hitch reciever on the front,and I bought a Warn Winch (9000 lb) which they make that is for mounting on a reciever,I can use it on my tractor or my pickup if I choose,I have had it on my tractor the whole time and it has helped me out many times,having my tractor stuck,or for getting a log out of the brush etc.......

Nice! What kind of current can the JD 4400 electrical system put out? Those winches can pull 100's of amps at times! good luck ....

I am not sure of the amperage at the moment,but yes it will pull the battery down,still you can pull for a good little bit if you have too,if the battery runs down I just let the tractor run a little while and charge back up,the book calls for a bigger battery than the one that come on the tractor.I will check the book and see what it says. ....

I WANT TO THANK YOU FOR HELPING ME ON MY WINCH CHOISE , I JUST BOUGHT A WARN 8000 TO MOUNT ON MY NEW LAND TRAC 360 WITH A LOADER , MY DEALER IS MOUNTING IT FOR ME AND HOOKS ON THE BUCKET .
THE INFO THAT I RECIVED ON THIS BOARD WAS VERY HELPFUL IN MY DESION MAKING .

this dealer has 12 land trac 360 with loaders and a hudge selection of other stuff!
his price on my tractor was 16,300 it only has 24 hrs on it !!
this was a good price i think , his new were 17.300 take a look ..... haynes outdoor in orange va 1 540 672 111 ,

i will let you know more later !
